5. Transfers outside Vietnam
Our website and databases are hosted on servers in the European Union, and some of our providers are located in other countries. Where personal data leaves Vietnam we do so in compliance with the applicable requirements of Vietnamese law and require our providers to protect it appropriately.
6. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above and as required by law. As a rule: booking, payment and contract records — for the period required by Vietnamese tax and accounting law; GPS and dashcam recordings — for the rental and a limited period afterwards to resolve incidents, fines and claims, and longer if a dispute is open; marketing data — until you withdraw consent. After that we delete or anonymise the data.
7. Security
We use access control, encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted staff access and regular backups. No system is completely secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
8. Your rights
Under Vietnamese law you have the right to be informed about and to access your personal data; to consent, or withdraw consent; to request correction or deletion; to request restriction of processing or object to it; to receive a copy; and to lodge a complaint or claim damages. Some rights are limited where we must keep data by law or for a legal claim. To exercise a right, write to [email protected]. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we will reply within the time required by law.
If you withdraw consent or ask us to delete data that is necessary for a rental, we may not be able to provide the rental.
