All VinRent vehicles are non-smoking. This keeps the cars clean for every next guest and protects the health of passengers.
What is not allowed
Smoking or vaping of any kind inside the vehicle — cigarettes, cigars, pipes, electronic cigarettes, heated-tobacco devices and hookah — including with the windows or doors open, and including the boot.
Please also do not throw cigarette ends or ash out of the vehicle. If you need to smoke, stop and step well away from the car.
What happens if the rule is broken
Signs of smoking in the vehicle (odour, ash, burns, residue) are recorded at return with photos or video. In that case:
- we charge a cleaning and deodorising fee equal to the documented cost of professional treatment of the interior, and reasonable compensation for the days the vehicle cannot be rented while it is being treated;
- the amount is deducted from the security deposit against an itemised statement, and anything above the deposit is payable by the renter;
- burns, holes or stains are treated as damage under the rental agreement — the damage waiver of your protection plan does not apply to deliberate or negligent damage.
Repeated or serious violations may lead to refusal of future rentals.
Passengers and responsibility
The renter is responsible for the behaviour of all passengers in the vehicle. Please tell everyone who travels with you.
