No. The base rate comes without protection (a high excess applies). At checkout you can add a plan — minimal, basic, or Premium with zero excess.
What licence do I need?
A national driving licence is enough — we provide a free certified translation into Vietnamese. An International Driving Permit (IDP) is recommended but not required.
How do I get the car?
Free self-pickup at the VinRent office in Nha Trang. We can also deliver to your hotel or Cam Ranh airport for a fee.
Is a deposit required?
Yes, a refundable deposit is taken at pick-up (usually in cash) and returned when you bring the car back undamaged.
What is the minimum age?
We recommend drivers aged 21 and over. There is no hard age cut-off, but terms depend on the age group.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, free cancellation is available up to 2h before pick-up. After that a penalty applies.
Can I drive to Cambodia or Laos?
No. Taking the car outside Vietnam is not allowed and can result in fines and a ban.
